8 Week Yoga Course - Winter Term 2024

Winter Term's focus with be on yoga flows, strength building and mediation.

All classes will begin with a short breathing exercise and warming up. A bigger portion of class with be moving through simple chair and standing yoga flows followed by some strength building to build some muscle tone and increase flexibility. Class will end with a cool down and stretch followed by mediation and relaxation. Meditation can be intimidating and challenging for many people. We will explore short, simple meditation practices and variations that will help you find the right postures for meditation. You will find that meditation does not have to look a certain way or be done for a certain amount of time.

Winter Term classes will begin the week of January 8th.

Recommended props: a yoga mat, 2 blocks, sturdy chair or 2, multiple blankets, and pillows or cushions.

Winter Term Schedule:

Mondays: 5:00 - 6:00pm

Thursdays: 5:00 - 6:00 pm

This class meets via zoom and a link and reminder will be sent to you weekly. If you can not make it to the live class a recording will be sent for you to follow along at a later date.
